England haven’t played much T20I cricket since their triumphant T20 World Cup down under, especially with their full-strength side and that reflects on the batting charts. Phil Salt has been their most successful batter since 2023, having scored 452 runs at an average of 50 while striking at nearly 170. He has smashed two centuries for England in this period.
Jos Buttler has made 448 runs from his last 12 innings for England, averaging 41 at a strike rate of 153. The skipper has hit four fifties, including 84 off 51 against Pakistan recently. Jonny Bairstow has played only six T20Is in this period, scoring 224 runs at a strike rate of 146, including two half-centuries while opening the innings.
Will Jacks has been a regular feature in the side since 2023, playing 11 out of 14 matches but hasn’t quite lived up to expectations. He has scored 198 runs at a strike rate of 144 while averaging just 18. Liam Livingstone, who is one of England’s key batters at the back end, has not been as consistent as the team would like.
