The Hundred Women’s competition History
In the competition’s brief history, two different champions have been crowned over the first three seasons. Southern Brave has been a consistent force, making it to all three finals. The Oval Invincibles secured the championship twice, triumphing over Southern Brave by 48 runs in the 2021 final and by five wickets in the 2022 final. Southern Brave finally clinched their maiden title in 2023, defeating Northern Superchargers by 34 runs to end their quest for the trophy.

Team Preview
Birmingham Phoenix occupy seventh spot on the table with just two wins in five games. They have some excellent players in the line-up such as Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, Amy Jones and Richa Ghosh but haven’t managed to put together consistent performances.
London Spirit sit third on the points table, having won three out of six games so far and one tie. They have a very strong core of Heather Knight, Meg Lanning, Deepti Sharma, Sarah Glenn, and Charlie Dean.
Manchester Originals started the season with two wins in the first three games but then suffered three consecutive losses. Despite having players such as Beth Mooney, Laura Wolvaardt, Sophie Ecclestone, Emma Lamb and Kim Garth, they haven’t been able to fire collectively.
Northern Superchargers are second on the current standings with eight points from six games. They have won three games and lost one, with one getting abandoned and another ending in a tie. The Superchargers have Hollie Armitage, Phoebe Litchfield, Georgia Wareham, and Alice Davidson-Richards.
Oval Invincibles, the two-time former champions are placed fourth with seven points, having won three out of six games while one game was tied. They boast of Chamari Athapaththu, Alice Capsey, Marizanne Kapp, Amanda-Jade Wellington and Mady Villiers.
Southern Brave, the champions of the 2023 season, have been eliminated from the face for the knockouts after earning only three points from six games. Possessing stars like Danni Wyatt, Smriti Mandhana, Georgia Adams, Maia Bouchier, and Lauren Bell, Southern Brave have managed to win only one out of six games.
Trent Rockets, led by Nat Sciver-Brunt, are hanging in the race with four points from five games, winning two of those. They have a quality players in the side such as Ashleigh Gardner, Bryony Smith, Heather Graham and Alana King.
Welsh Fire are sitting at the top of the table with nine points from six games, having won four and lost once. Welsh have some terrific players in Hayley Matthews, Sophia Dunkley, Jess Jonassen, and Tammy Beaumont.
