Can South Africa win the T20 World Cup?
Bet on the T20 World Cup 2024 final on 22Bet.
Moving on to our main question, which is whether South Africa can win the T20 World Cup, we will have to take a look at the venue and the opponents. The second semi-final between India and England is scheduled to be played at Guyana but there is a high chance of the match getting washed out and India advancing through to the final on the basis of finishing higher in their group.
South Africa’s bowling attack has done exceedingly well in the tournament, with Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada picking 23 wickets between them. The likes of Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi have been superb as well. Their batting unit, on the other hand, hasn’t fired at full potential. Barbados is one of the better venues in the tournament for batting and that could bring the best out of them.
As for their opponents, South Africa will have a much better chance of lifting the trophy if England join them in the final. They have defeated England in the Super Eight stage and match well against them. India would be a tougher challenge due to their potent bowling unit but the Proteas do possess the resources to upstage them too.
Coming to the conclusion, we believe South Africa can win the T20 World Cup 2024. You can bet on South Africa to win the tournament at odds of 2.375 on 22Bet.
