India’s Arshdeep Singh tops the list of the most wickets in T20 internationals since 2023 amongst top 10 ranked teams. He has taken 31 wickets from 24 games, albeit has been expensive with an economy rate of 9.06. The left-hand seamer was excellent in India’s opening game of the tournament with the new ball, picking two early wickets.
Taskin Ahmed of Bangladesh has claimed 30 wickets from 16 matches in this period at an economy of 6.80 while striking every 12.4 deliveries. Taskin was superb in their first game of the T20 World Cup 2024, picking 2 for 25 in four overs as they defeated Sri Lanka.
Mustafizur Rahman, one of the key players for Bangladesh over the years, has picked 26 scalps from 19 games at an economy of 7 and strike rate of 15.6, including one four-wicket haul. Mustafizur was magnificent in the previous game, where he snared 3 for 17 in four overs.
Fazalhaq Farooqi has been sensational for Afghanistan in the shorter format. Since 2023, he has snared 25 wickets from 19 T20I matches at an excellent economy of 6.37, including two four-wicket hauls. The left-arm pacer has delivered for the team in this tournament, picking 9 wickets in just two games.

Fazalhaq Farooqi is leading the wickets chart with nine wickets in two games, having taken a five-wicket haul against Uganda and then decimated New Zealand with another four-fer.
